Aquatic Supervisor training is for experienced Lifeguards and Swim Instructors who wish to oversee deck level aquatic programs.

✓ The Deck Supervisor's role in drowning prevention, team member and program supervision, and facility oversight
✓ Leader centred decision making
✓ Navigating pool regulatory requirements, Lifesaving Society standards, and facility Standard Operating Procedures
✓ Safe aquatic operations, risk management, inspections, and waterborne illness prevention
✓ Safety supervision for Lifeguards and instructional programs
✓ Creating and modifying staff training plans, and using feedback as a training opportunity
✓ Proactive public relations
✓ Managing major incidents
Candidates will have access to Shore course documents in addition to Lifesaving Society resources. A Lifesaving Society certification card will be issued in the mail within 90 days after successful course completion. In the meantime, candidates will receive a proof of completion letter on the last day of the course.
